Suns deal Shaq to Cleveland Cavaliers
Cavs acquire Shaq for Wallace, Pavlovic, pick & cash
In a deal that had been rumored since the trade deadline during the 2009 NBA season, the Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Shaquille O'Neal on Wednesday night from the Phoenix Suns. After GM's Danny Ferry (Cavs) and Steve Kerr (Suns) discussed the deal just before the trade deadline during the season, the two had been rumored to be working on a deal after Cleveland was ousted in the Eastern Conference Finals and the Suns missed the 2009 NBA Playoffs altogether.

In exchange for Shaq, the Suns acquired F/C Ben Wallace, SG/SF Sasha Pavlovic, a 2nd Round pick in 2010 and $500,000 cash.
