Quantcast 2010 Los Angeles Clippers: Clippers vs Jazz

Jazz @ Clippers - Game Preview

The Clippers come back home tonight after a “poor energy” game in Sacramento. The Jazz visit Staples Center tonight, looking for their 15 th road win, which maybe tough (14-13on the road) while the Clippers try to clip their two game skid.

The Jazz which are 7-3 in their last ten have been playing some of their best team basketball all season. While Deron William’s disappointed in some of the Jazz’ current play in games, they have been on a roll. Currently in 4 th in the powerhouse filled West, the Jazz look to keep homecourt advantage in the first round.

While the Clippers have given up on their playoff hopes, they have had some flashes of a solid team at times, but still end up coming short, either due to sloppy starts or not being able to finish, the Clippers bound for the future, still trying to put up a fight.

The matchup of the night will be at the point guard position, with Williams and Davis, having similar body structure, who will be the guard that overpowers the other? Baron and the Clippers are 17-12 at home, so they are able to win at home, but if they get off to a slow start, they tend to not be able to get out of that hole later one, and if they do manage to hang in the first three quarters, they have been recently performing poorly in the 4 th as well.

If the Clips get hot from outside they might be able to sneak passed the Jazz, but they will also have to contain Boozer. The Clippers might get some help from the injury bug, as Forward and defensive specialist Andrei Kirilenko might be out once again due to back spasms.
