Houston Rockets vs Milwaukee Bucks Preview

The Houston Rockets look to rebound from a defensive lapse suffered in their most recent 115-106 loss to Miami on Friday. It was the first time Houston lost in the Toyota Center in eight games, going back to late November.

Luis Scola and Chase Budinger both scored 17 points for the Rockets, who have won just twice in the last seven games after going 6-2 to finish off December.

The Rockets host the Milwaukee Bucks, who have won just five of their last 15 contests. Their matchup against Houston ends a forgettable six-game road trip, where they currently are 1-4, giving up over 100 points in each of the last four games.

In the 95-112 loss to the Jazz on Saturday, the Bucks failed on the defensive end, letting Utah shoot 56.4 percent from the field, including 50 percent from behind the arc. Carlos Delfino led the Bucks in scoring with 28 points off the bench. Rookie sensation Brandon Jennings had just five points and made just one field goal, but had 11 assists.

Houston has had its own defensive miscues of late giving up an average of 109 points per game in the last five matchups.

Milwaukee comes into Houston with just two wins against the Rockets since 2004, and is winless in Houston in over eight years.
